Weibull Analysis, Parts Libraries, DLL & External App

Weibull Analysis

Weibull Analysis is a method used to analyze historical failures and produce probabilistic failure distributions based on the data provided. Data can be input easily or imported from other sources and fitted to exponential, normal, lognormal, Weibayes and various Weibull distribution types.

The distributions obtained by performing Weibull Analysis can be used in the other modules of Reliability Workbench.

Parts Libraries

The Isograph Parts Library is a database that contains failure data for mechanical and electronic parts. It is easy to transfer data directly from the Isograph Parts Library to the current project from within Reliability Workbench using drag and drop.

There are over 100000 parts in the Isograph Parts Libraries containing accurate manufacturer’s reliability data. In addition to the industry parts libraries, it is also possible to create custom parts libraries that can, for example, be used to share data across many projects.

The Isograph Parts Library may be accessed from the Prediction, FMECA, RBD, Fault Tree and Event Tree modules.

Reliability Workbench DLL

The Reliability Workbench Dynamic Link Library allows external programs to read and write data directly in a Reliability Workbench project file. It can be used, for example, to build a project based on third party data or export results directly to other programs.

The DLL can be easily accessed from any Microsoft .NET project

Reliability Workbench External App

The External App is a new innovation from Isograph. It allows the loading of data directly into failure models from external functions. When the External App module is licensed, a button labelled with a bitmap of your design will appear in the failure model dialog. Hitting this button will call your external application and populate the data accordingly.
